Bog Quay spot

Small secluded spot just of the main road and then by the farm road. I stayed behind the broken gate surrounded by trees which provided great protection from the wind. You can hear the cars on the main road but it’s not a big issue and you can park your car next to the spot by the entrance to the farm so that is great. Just be mindful there is a truck using the roadin the morning To the farm further along the road. The ground isn’t perfect to pitch as it’s some mix of stones/gravel under a thin layer of soil but was ok with me as i had an inflated mattress and was able to fix the tent securely enough. You may want to pitch on the nearby farm bybthe tree to enjoy fantastic view but it may be windy there.
